Middle Niobrara Natural Resources District Offers Scholarship
The Middle Niobrara Natural Resources District (MNNRD) is offering a $500 scholarship to an outstanding student. To apply for the scholarship students may be; a graduating high school senior, currently attending college or vocational school, or a non-traditional student acquiring additional education. Applicants must reside in the MNNRD and be pursuing a degree in; agriculture, natural resource, or wildlife related studies. The scholarship will not be awarded to a previous recipient. Applications will be ranked on the student’s commitment to furthering education, academic achievement, leadership abilities, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement. Applications should be accompanied by; a copy of the most recent transcript, ACT scores, and a sealed letter of recommendation. Applications can be downloaded from the link below, picked up at the MNNRD office or with your school guidance counselor. Completed applications can be mailed to Middle Niobrara NRD, 303 E Hwy 20, Valentine, NE 69201, faxed to 402-376-1040. The deadline to apply is May 2nd, 2022, by 5 p.m. CST.
