Request For Proposal (RFP) - Long Pine Creek Watershed (LPCW) Restoration Phase 3 Project

The MNNRD is requesting for proposals from interested and qualified firms for planning, design, permitting, construction, and construction oversight of the LPCW Restoration Phase 3 Project on Sand Draw Creek. Click here to view the RFP - LPCW Restoration Phase 3

This site is located approximately 9 miles northeast of Ainsworth, NE on Sand Draw Creek. This particular site has been on the radar as a high priority for the MNNRD since the LPCW Water Quality Management Plan was established due to a headcut that has pushed upstream several hundred feet over the last couple of years causing erosion and sediment issues, channelizing, and streambed degradation. The MNNRD will be utilizing funding from Nebraska Environmental Trust (NET) and Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy (NDEE) for the preliminary work and also construction.

The RFP deadline is April 26th, 2021 by 5:00PM CT. The project viewing day will be held April 6th, 2021 and will be meeting at the gas station with the subway in it on the north side of HWY 20 at 9:30AM CT. From there, we will head up towards the project location. The MNNRD will be bringing 2 UTV’s to assist in taking folks down to visit the project site/area.

Those of you interested, if you have questions or comments, please feel free to reach out to me via telephone and/or email.
