2019 National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD)

The Middle Niobrara Natural Resources District (MNNRD) was awarded funding through a 2019 NACD Technical Assistance (TA) grant through partnership with the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) and the U.S. Department opf Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to build and strenghten technical capacity throughout the Long Pine Creek Watershed (LPCW). 

MNNRD will use TA grant funding to provide technical assistance for the Watershed Coordinator to continue focusing on the LPCW, Brown County, Nebraska, in assisting landowners getting Best Management Practices (BMPs) implemented and addressing the stream erosion, water quality issues, streambed degradation, and sedimentation build up in the LPCW.
