NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO ACCEPT TESTIMONY REGARDING THE PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE MIDDLE NIOBRARA NATURAL RESOURCES DISTRICT
The Middle Niobrara Natural Resources District (MNNRD or District) hereby provides notice that the MNNRD will hold an in person, public hearing on June 5th, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST, at the Mid Plains Community College, 715 US – 20 E, Valentine, NE 69201. The purpose of this hearing is to accept public testimony on the proposed changes to the Rules and Regulations of the MNNRD.
A draft copy of the proposed changes to the Rules and Regulations are available for review during normal business hours at the Valentine Office or on the District website at www.mnnrd.org. All proposed changes to the rules and regulations will be read aloud following the opening of the public hearing. Anyone wishing to provide verbal testimony will be allowed 3 minutes to do so following the reading of the proposed changes. Written testimony may be received in advance at the MNNRD office – 303 E HWY 20 – Valentine NE 69201 with a deadline of June 1st, 2026, to be considered for the hearing. Written testimony will be read aloud following the conclusion of any verbal testimony. The MNNRD Board of Directors will vote to Approve or Deny the proposed changes on June 5th, 2026, at the Regular Board Meeting scheduled for 3:00 PM CST at the same location.
